The British Marine Federation - East Anglia is the BMF Eastern region association and has the prime objective of promoting and protecting the interests of all marine based industry in Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire and parts of Lincolnshire, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.

BMF-EA aims to advance the profile of all it's members and the boating industry in general in the region, nationally and where possible, internationally. In all, BMF-EA represents over 265 companies involved in the marine business and associated trades.

The aims of the BMF EA are to:-

  • Represent the interests of the marine industry at local level.
  • Represent our members interests within the democracy of the National Federation
  • Advise on relevant training in European and International regulations
  • Provide information to members on matters affecting local marine businesses
  • Promote member companies and boating at a local level
  • Provide an active marine business forum within the region
  • Answer and assist any member’s queries and/or problems
